BEKASI, KLIK7TV.CO.ID – Abdul Yacub has been elected as the new Chairman of the Indonesian Container Depot Association (ASDEKI) Jakarta Province for the 2024-2029 term. He secured his position following a democratic election held during the 4th Regional Conference (MUSWIL) on December 19, 2024, at the Santika Hotel in Kota Harapan Indah, Bekasi.
Yacub triumphed over Wahyu Indra Gunawan in a competitive race, with participation from the majority of active members of DPW ASDEKI Jakarta.

The conference was inaugurated by Mustofa Kamal Hamka, the General Chairperson of ASDEKI, and attended by several ASDEKI administrators. The event also featured Dr. Kartika Kus Hendratna, S.T., M.Eng, from the Indonesian Classification Bureau, PT. Biro Klasifikasi Indonesia (Persero).
In his victory speech, Abdul Yacub emphasized the importance of strengthening internal consolidation among DPW ASDEKI Jakarta members and forming a comprehensive management team for the 2024-2029 period.
He stressed the need for container depots to take a more proactive role alongside port stakeholders to ensure the efficient flow of container activities at Tanjung Priok Port, Indonesia’s largest port.
